Once again Learning to Work organised and ran the Charters School Careers Event, this annual event is always supported by many organisations and this year was no exception with 35 organisations being represented on the day, include Thames Valley Police, Waitrose, Dawnus (the contractor building on the school site), Vodafone, Artemis, RAF, British Army, Royal Berkshire Hotel, Cowarth Park Hotel and many more, including Colleges, Universities, Training Providers. 
 
This successful event left many exhibitors saying that the students were very engaged and asked lots of questions. The whole of year 9 and 11 attended at designated slots (nearly 500 students), with sixth form and Year 10 attending in their breaks, in all over 600 students come to visit the event.
